There was some dude fishing in a little boat right at the bottom which looked comical. Then we started to race through the mountains , The Fish ate my rash as fast as we could to make the most of the light... and to try and get a shot from high up of the sunset but we missed it by 20 minutes or so.
try, Outskirts of Adelaide. Lake Alexandria and Handorf. The final hour of the drive was pretty tricky. Very windy, steep and dark. We made it to Thredbo and were pretty please with ourselves knowing the worst was behind us. We even saw a couple deer crossing the road, a mother and a baby. also see, Canberra - catching up with family We found the caravan park, and bedded down. A guy was listening to talk back radio and sport as we set up, and must have fallen asleep to it. I could still hear it as I drifted off after midnight that night.
Jindabyne
I spent our time in Jindabyne repairing the caravan, and doing some computing stuff, so I will leave the story of Jindabyne to Nici. The lake beside the caravan park, was gorgeous. Many people fished, few caught anything. Lots of people kayacked around on it and I wished I'd had one. Hiring one was almost as much as to buy one, so I passed.
