One of the low points of our trip, was driving past the 8 apostles on the great ocean road, with a camera with a flat battery and no where and no time to charge it.

Modern cameras are great with their inbuilt power supply.  Its a much more efficient battery than the rechargeable ones for many reasons.  There is no wastage of space cause by the cylinder shape of normal batteries, and cylinder batteries also waste a lot of space with their casing as each battery is encased, whereas a camera battery is a single unit, single case.

But is sucks when your you beaut camera battery runs out, and you can not simply buy more, you have to charge the one you have, but can not for one reason of another

The apostles are simply breathtaking, and though we consoled ourselves with the knowledge no photo have a look at, Armidale - old ghosts and new adventures could do them justice.... we wish we'd been able to take some of these photos. why not visit, Equipment we took on the big Australia Trip

So we have just added a car inverter to the list of must have equipment for the car, Dick Smith seems to be running a special on an inverter + cooler for under $100 which we will go and grab tomorrow.
